Systemic Psychotherapist and Practitioner
I offer a private and confidential space to talk about the issues affecting your daily living. We will explore your own thoughts, resources and abilities to look at connections and ways forward to transformation and change. We can often get “stuck” in negative patterns of thinking and behaviours that affect perceptions of ourselves and others – our various relationships at home, workplace or social.
How we work together will be determined by the issues you bring respecting your preferred ways of talking about things. I use a range of approaches and techniques and will be transparent about what is informing my thoughts about your situation and we will agree the number and frequency of sessions reviewing this to evaluate progress.
Therapy may be useful for you as a medium for exploring difficulties in life and relationships, working through and with a wide range of issues including feelings of loss, isolation, stress, distress or disturbance, a lack of self-esteem, patterns of behaviours or confusion about identity and it offers a process for opening-up possibilities for change. The process also attends to clinical labels such as panic attacks, anxiety, depression, dependency on hidden harm substances and other kinds of addictions. This kind of talking is a way of taking steps to walk along new paths with the support of an experienced traveller. It can also help you to reflect on how you might create the conditions for mapping out a different kind of future by working with present issues.
